Neha Chaudhary is a 28 year old poet, spoken word performer and essayist. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.

She graduated from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business in 2022 with her MSc in Global Finance and works full time at a fintech unicorn, but everyone who knows her knows her one true love is writing.

In the last 3 years, she wrote and published her first two books – Voice Notes From My Head and Loving Without Helmets. Both sold over two thousand copies.

Like all her literary idols, she runs on coffee, sarcasm, and a dizzying love for the city so ingrained, it flows in her bones. She takes pride in the qualities that make her a writer: hyper-sensitivity, the sponge-like ability to absorb then document details, and the joy that comes from expressing colorful emotions in black and white.

Her writing details life in the greatest city in the world, being a young immigrant woman in STEM, dating as a cynical but hopeless romantic, and her experiences with womanhood, mental health and friendship.

In her free time (or the little that is left of it) she enjoys reading physical copies of the New Yorker, making long transcontinental phone calls to her friends back home and watching the seasons change on long walks through Central Park. Oh, and standing in corners of rooftop parties.

She hopes that you will find your feelings transcribed in her words, and that if you do, you will consider subscribing. You can find more of her work on Instagram.
